Brian Amkraut

Brian Amkraut is a trained social scientist with a PhD in history and has worked as a faculty member and most recently as provost at a small college in Northeast Ohio.  He was captain of his rugby team in college, once ran the New York marathon, and is currently writing his second book. His current research addresses the role that digital culture has played in changing the concepts of identity and community in the early 21st century.
